I bought this to replace my Catit Stainless Steel water fountain, as it only dribbled the water up and my cat couldn't get much water at once. This is a great replacement. I love that I can choose from the bubbling water or the spout (my cat likes the bubble setting as he doesn't like the risk of getting his face wet with the spout ) and the fact it is transparent is much better than an opaque reservoir, it means I can easily see how much water and if it has any bits in. Overall very happy with this fountain - I've added pictures of my wonderful little old man (15yo) enjoying a drink from his new fountain
